Tata has introduced an AMT version of its sedan offering Tigor. The AMT transmission facility is only being offered with two of its range-topping XT and XZ petrol variants. The price for the XTA 1.2 Petrol is INR 5.75 lakh ex-Delhi while the XZA 1.2 petrol trim is priced at Rs. 6.22 lakh ex-Delhi. If the pricing of these automatic variants is compared to the manual XT and XZ trims, you will have to spend a premium amount of INR 41,000. And it is quite a reasonable sum for this sheer convenience offered by the company.
In terms of power generation, the Tata’s 1.2-litre Revotron petrol motor is rated to coughs out the maximum power of 85bhp along with 114Nm torque.
On the features front, both the automatic variants are carrying the similar features as of their manual counterparts. But there is an expansion in offered driving modes with the inclusion of Sport mode in Multi Drive Modes apart from Eco and City.

If you are keen to opt the Tigor AMT, we suggest, to go with the XZA variant as it is offering really needed safety of two airbags. Also, the price difference between the XTA and the XZA variant is INR 47,000 that is pretty justified for the safety of the driver and its co-passenger.
If the rivalry of the Tigor AMT variants is considered, they will combat against the competitors such as the Honda Amaze automatic, Ford Figo AT and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire AMT.
