Tata has launched a new special edition in the zest series named-Zest Premio. This special edition has been launched to celebrate the success of sales in the Zest series of 85,000 units and is positioned under the top-variant Xt trim in the compact sedan range.

The Tata Zest Premio get 13 additional features over the regular model and is available with 75 hp diesel engine. The Premio edition is available in the price range of Rs 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Zest Premio comes with additional features like dual tone roof in glossy black, piano black hued outside mirrors on the exterior, and a chic tan finished mid pad on the dashboard in the interior. It also comes with two exterior colors - Titanium Grey and Platinum Silver. The 15 inches wheels come with the silver-finished wheel cover.
It also gets smoked multi-reflector headlamps and a piano black hood strip at the front to accompany the dual tone bumper. At the rear, the Zest Premio features a piano black boot lid garnish and a special edition badge.It also gets new premium seat fabric with contrast stitching and Premio branding. There's also the option to buy a piano black spoiler as an accessory.
Under the hood, the zest Premio also comes with 1.3-litre, 4 cylinder diesel engine which is good enough for 74 bhp and 190 Nm torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission just like Zest XMS. The Premio Edition also gets similar equipment as the XMS variant which includes touchscreen infotainment system from Harman along with navigation system.
As the mid-term spec trim has been introduced the Zest Premio edition will compete with the new Maruti Dzire, Volkswagen Ameo and the upcoming Honda amaze with the ford aspire in India.
