Tesla has finally brought the facelift version of the Model S. It gets some significant changes and depicts some resemblance with the Model X crossover from front. The interior gets the air filtration unit inspired from the Model X as well.
Talking about the exterior corridor, the front fascia gets a slimmer grille assembled with new headlights. The overall design remains unchanged in comparison to the old Model S.Inside, Tesla brings in two wooden finishes customized beautifully in Ash wood and Dark Ash Wood finish.
The automaker claims that the air filtration system is much more advanced than other sophisticated features that are placed inside the new Model S. The HEPA filter will remove particulate pollution by up to 99.97 percent which complies of bacteria, allergens, etc.
Mechanically, the car will be fitted with the same all-electric motor. But, the 40 Ampere charger has been upgraded to 48 Ampere in order to facilitate faster charging. The automaker is also indulged into making a more powerful version of the Model S named P100D, which will perform above the P90D standards. However, the company has not announced any official launch schedule for it.
