The famous automaker Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd, has officially launched Etios Xclusive special edition in India. This model derives a lot of features from the top ranging VX trim. It has been introduced with certain cosmetic updates in both interior and exterior portions. These tweaks make this car all the more appealing and classy. This special edition has been brought in petrol as well as diesel engine options priced at INR 7.82 Lacs and INR 8.93 Lacs, (Ex-Showroom) respectively. The mechanical configuration has not been changed at all as compared to the earlier version of Etios.
Many features have been integrated exclusively for this special edition car. This model flaunts electrically adjustable ORVMs that are equipped with LED turn signals and highlight a chromed finish. The side doors possess black visors on them and there is a badge implanted on the exterior body of this sedan. This badge reads 'Xclusive' and is embedded with the logo of Toyota. It is available in a newly added Blue Metallic paint shade along with the existing shades of Symphony Silver and Pearl White.
The cabin of this car gets wrapped in a dual tone fabric displaying a stripped pattern. A major change made to the cockpit is found in the form of wooden garnish on the center console and armrests. For infotainment, this vehicle is packed with Smart Link unit that contains touchscreen facility, operated through hand and air gestures. Other facilities on offer include Bluetooth connectivity, Voice Functions and navigation. Additionally, there are some features that are standard across the range like 12-inch alloys, fog lamps, ABS, airbags and a steering wheel mounted with audio controls.
Coming to the mechanical configuration, much like the existing version, this model is going to carry either a 1.5 litre petrol or a 1.4 litre diesel engine. The former generates 88.8 Bhp of power while the latter delivers 67.1 Bhp output. Both the motors are clubbed with a five-speed manual gearbox for transmitting power to the wheels.
