The distinguished Japanese automaker Toyota has unwrapped the new hatchback Shooting Brake concept, which is going to be driven by the same GT86 sportscar body type. The event of this new sibling had been hosted in Sydney, Australia by GT86 Chief Engineer Tetsuya Tada. The car under the question here was built at the home facility along with a great direction of Toyota's global sports car division while the further process succeeded in the presence of company's Australia design team.
The concept comes with the same wheelbase and front fascia as the sportscar while the rear and side profile has been changed a little bit to show it off like a hatch. Moreover, when you move into the car's interior, you will find more rear head room as well as luggage space.
MR. Brad Cramb, Toyota Australia Divisional Manager National Marketing, said: “The Toyota GT86 lends itself perfectly to a concept that expands its appeal with added versatility, while retaining its sleek and sporty coupe styling and sharp, responsive driving character.” He also added, “While we never say never, and I would love this concept to become a production reality, it is very much a concept that demonstrates the passion within Toyota for cars that are fun to drive.”
