After going through so many phases, Toyota Innova Crysta has finally been launched in the India auto market at the starting price of INR 13.48 Lakhs and goes up to INR 20.78 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Mumbai). Available in six variants namely G, GX, GX AT, VX, and ZX, it is also offered with addition 7 seater and 8 seater configuration with each version. Those who made the advance booking, delivery will start from May 13, 2016.
Talking about the powertrain, Crysta is packed with a lighter 2.4-litre engine that churns out 146.9 Bhp of power and 343 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, a heavier 2.8-litre trim is also offered that belts out 174.5 Bhp of power and 360 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is mated to the 2.4-litre mill while a 6-speed automatic gearbox is coupled to the 2.8-litre unit.
Unlike many other features, the company has also considered the fuel efficiency and increased it by 10 percent. For now, the manual stands for the 15.10 kmpl of mileage and the automatic is claimed to return the fuel efficiency of 14.29 kmpl.
Moving to the features, Toyota has loaded a frameless front grille with two chrome slats, new fog lamps, fresh bumper, LED headlights with daytime running lights, and many others are also assigned with variant wise. Inside the cabin, you will be amazed to see the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cup holders, better seat upholstery, a better legroom and AC vents for the second and third row.
Some standard safety features across all versions are listed as three airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution) while the top-end models are furnished with 7 airbags.
