Toyota Yaris Introduced With A Price Tag Of Rs. 8.75

Toyota has introduced the Yaris priced at Rs. 8.75 lakh in India. The Yaris was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and has achieved Toyota’s entry to the mid-size sedan segment. It is placed in a price range of Rs. 8.75 lakhs to Rs. 14.07 lakhs.

The Toyota has focused on providing the Yaris with loads of features. Safety is prominent in Yaris and it gets 7 SRS airbags including SRS knee airbag, SRS Curtain Shield Airbags (CSA), SRS side airbags, SRS D+P airbags, further, it obtains ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, disc brakes all around, Vehicle stability control, and tyre pressure monitoring system.

The Toyota Yaris is quite comfortable with added IR cut, acoustic & vibration control glass for door and windshield maintains silence in cabin, a high solar energy absorbing (HSEA), roof mounted air vents, hand /air gesture controlled infotainment system, Touch Screen Navigation, ambient illumination for rear passengers and electric driver’s seat. 

The Yaris is powered by a 1.5L Dual VVT-i petrol engine mated to a 7 speed CVT automatic or 6 speed MT choices. The CVT option will be in across all trims. The Toyota Yaris will take part in the market along with Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid and the Honda City.

The Yaris is priced differently for different variants depending on features and amenities provided with them. The Variant J is priced at Rs. 8,75,000 for MT and Rs. 9,95,000 for CVT, the Variant G is priced at Rs. 10,56,000 for MT and Rs.11,76,000 for CVT, the Variant V is priced at Rs. 11,70,000 for MT and Rs. 12,90,000 for CVT and the Variant VX is priced at Rs. 12,85,000 for MT and Rs. 14,07,000 for CVT.
