TVS Akula 310 Racer Concept: Video

After unveiling the factory racer concept of the new TVS Akula 310 at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the native two-wheeler maker has now come up with a promotional video of the same. Apart from the showcase of the traditional Hosur-based automaker's racing machine, the fully faired Akula 310 with spiky styling is based on the BMW G310R, the predecessor to a compact displacement production motorcycle.

As per the company, TVS Akula would be very grand incorporating the 33 years of experience of the firm. The racing machine has been engineered with an aluminium trellis frame, which performs its suspension duties via race-tuned USD forks at the front and monoshock at the rear. Moreover, the carbon fibre body panels keep the weight of the tourer balanced.

The production model that is anticipated to be launched at the end of this year would probably acquire a couple of features such as ram-air induction, a variety of aerodynamic features, split seats, petal discs, powerful exhaust canal, and sturdy tyres.

The fresh facility plant of TVS in Hosur will do the assembly of both the TVS Akula 310 and BMW G310R. By the end of 2016, the TVS sibling will hit the Indian two-wheeler market while the Beemer may enter its production phase anytime soon.
