TVS and BMW is coming together to manufacture its first product. Indian Automobile Company TVS is a joint venture of BMW to present its new model which would be just a street bike. The joint venture was penned in 2013 and told that it will come in Indian market with 250CC to 750CC two wheelers. Now the joint venture would come with 300CC bike which could be quite low capacity bike for BMW which began its bikes with 650CC to 1600CC capacity. While TVS’s largest capacity bike has 180 cc engine displacement only.
It is expected that the 300CC bike could be an adventure bike which will be manufactured for both On-Off road. By introducing this bike in Indian market, company will present a street bike with powerful engine capacity which is yet to be available in only sports bikes like Kawasaki Ninja and cruiser bikes like Royal Enfield. The upcoming bike of TVS-BMW will equip with four-stroke, single-cylinder engine which gives power to the bike.
This new upcoming bike would take the boldness and technical courageousness from BMW and has the caliber of TVS for trading, promoting and marketing. It is speculated that; in some aspects, bike will look like Hero Impulse technically. The product will be reached in the production stage later in 2015.
