The little investigation brings out that TVS is updating four components on the Apache RR 310. The first and most significant is the ECU which is being re-tuned for smooth revving throughout the rev range. It will not only refine the bike’s performance but also return an improved fuel efficiency.

Next in the queue is the windscreen which will be studded with piping around edges near the fairing to reduce humming sound. Further, the bar-end weights which play a vital role in reducing vibrations in the handlebar have been enlarged and heavier than earlier. Last but not least, the component that checks marked in the update list is a chain roller rebuilt with a softer metal and is expected to reduce chain noise.
All the TVS Apache RR 310 models available at the dealerships are liable to get this update free of cost. It will take around 3 hours to retrofit bike with these updates. Also, the company is offering a choice of getting these update during the next service if one is not willing to update immediately.
