Unveiled on 20th of January last month, the promising TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is ready to be delivered soon in India as the bike is reaching eminent Southern dealerships. Reportedly, the motorcycle will arrive at the Chennai outlets by the end of this week, while the dealerships in Bangalore are already having a couple of units as of now. Moreover, the starting chunk of the RTR 200 4V will be having only the carbureted models.
The company is publicizing the bike simultaneously all over the country. With limited number of variants are shipping to India, a clear indication is there that the Mysore plant is yet to be raised up for the production of this flagship machine. The original price of the adventure tourer is INR 88,990 (Ex-showroom, Chennai), though, it could be hiked up by Rs. 2000 for the carb variant. Anticipations are there that the FI version of the RTR 200 4V is going to be available at the outlets during mid of April. While TVS has put all its potential to promote the bike heavily among the masses, it would be exciting to watch that whether the motorcycle could lead to the expectations or not.

Power in the bike comes from a 195.75cc, air-cooled motor that propels out 20.5PS of power and 18.1NM of torque, matched up to a five-speed transmission. Talking about the fuel-injected variant, the torque figures are same as of the carb model, however, the power generated by the FI variant is of 21PS. Technically, it has been equipped with Bosh EFI, Continental dual-channel ABS, Pirelli Tyres, digital instrument panel, front and rear disc brakes and LED headlamps.
