The mesmerizing TVS Akula 310 was truly a gem from the automaker at the last month ended 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Getting an epitome of a shark, which what Akula has a meaning in Russian, the fully faired racing motorcycle is based on the recently introduced BMW G310R.

As per the concept that has been exhibited at the Expo, the Akula 310 was having a lot of carbon fibre bits all over the body. The chief reason behind this tinge was not only to provide a constructional support, but to make it visually attractive as well. Consequently, the response was phenomenal as the audience has made extreme demands for the carbon-fibre faired version of the motorcycle. Sources confirmed that TVS will start the production of the said variant for sure, though, it has to do a lot of engineering before the manufacturing initiates. If everything goes well, we will see the unveiling of production spec TVS Akula 310 by the last quarter of 2016.
Talking about the power specs of the bike, the fully faired variant will get a 313cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled FI motor, which is going to generate a maximum power of 34 PS and a peak torque of 28NM, mated to a six-speed transmission. TVS Akula 310 claims to deliver a top speed of 33kmph.
