Upcoming BMW G 310 R Test Mule Spied in Chennai

The naked street fighter from the German bike maker, BMW Motorrad, G 310 R was premiered at the 2015 EICMA last year. It is the first time when this roadster spied in India. The bike has been captured in a video during its test mule in Chennai by the bunch of guys. The spy video has been uploaded by the Motorcykle.in, which unveils the G 310 R was in a Strato Blue livery without any camouflage to cover the detailing s of the bikes.

Powered by a whole new 313cc, liquid-cooled and single-cylinder engine. The motorcycle runs by using the churns out max power of 34 hp and peak torque of 28 Nm. The mill is connected to a six-speed gearbox via a chain drive. The engine is upto the mark in terms of performance as it can reaches the top speed of 144 Kmph and can delivers the claimed mileage of 36.05 Kmpl, easy to handle G 310 R is not that heavier and boasts only 158.5 kgs (kerb weight).

Quick responsive naked street is also tucked down with lots of essential features to look after the safety, comfort and convenience. Included features are suspension setup with upside down front forks and monoshock rear suspension, disc brakes at both end with ABS standard, broader rear tyre, digital instrument cluster and much more.

Showcased TVS Akula 310 Concept

Engineered by BMW Motorrad, the G 310 R will be manufactured at Indian facility of TVS Motor Company. As per the contract signed between both the company 3 years ago. Global motorcycle, BMW G 310R will also be exported to the European and South East Asian countries. Manufactured at home, naked street G 310 R will be cost in the range of 3 lakh, where it will lock the horns with the KTM Duke 390 and the Mahindra Mojo.

The spy video confirmed the entrance of this street tracker during festive season this year. And the fully faired version of G 310 R which is known as Akula 310 concept and made it availability at the Delhi Auto Expo this year, also scheduled after the launch of the BMW G 310 R. And a adventure tourer also based on BMW G 310 R also in the product lineup to come in the Indian motoring market and it ( rumoured F310GS) may show its presence in the market in 2017.
