An American multinational company, Ford has inaugurated the fabrication of its forthcoming Ford Ka and in other words, we can say that the organization has introduced its next propagation of Ford Figo in India. The production has started for this motor in Camacari, Bahia and Brazil. At the press conference, Ford confessed that the most awaited hatchback will be firstly available for purchasing in Brazil from September, 2014.
It is expected to have an outstanding exterior and within the cabin, the car seems to include the aristocratic functions that will render the excellent amenities for its occupants. The First Ka runabout, which is known as the base SE model and it is machined with a three cylinder 1.0 litre Flex Fuel engine. This model comprises the splendid power of 83.8 bhp alongside the spectacular torque of 107 Nm and it holds a 5 speed manual transmission. Reportedly, the other stronger 1.5 litre engine will exist in future.
The latest Ka is available in the market of Brazil with the two models, first one is named as base SE and the second one is SEL. Both variants are priced around INR 9.53 Lakhs and INR 10.77 Lakhs, respectively. The upcoming Ka will take entry in India in the coming next year with the replacement of Figo. The hatchback will give the direct rivalry to Maruti Swift, Maruti Celerio and Hyundai Grand i10 and it will arrive in the country in 2015. The car will ranged between the approximate price of INR 5 Lakhs to INR 6 Lakhs.
