With the drop in customs duty on vehicles via CBU route from the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), the Milwaukee, U.S. based automaker Harley Davidson has pronounced the cut in prices of its Touring and CVO models. Post customs duty revision, the motorcycles above 800cc displacement will be priced 25 percent more affordable and below 800cc the motorbikes will be 10 percent handy than the earlier models. The Touring and CVO models which fall in the price bucket of INR 2.62-3.73 lakh will observe the cut in pricing.

Other prominent manufacturers such as Aprilia, Honda, Indian Motorcycles, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Suzuki and Yamaha could also alter their products prices in an effect of announced reduced customs duties for the CBU imported units.
Besides, Harley’s Indian subsidiary has also experienced the recent arrival of three new models in the Softail family which are the 2018 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114, the Low Rider and the Deluxe. The first one that is a special 115th Anniversary Edition from the bike maker is on sale at INR 19.79 lakh. While to grab hands-on models like the Low Rider and the Deluxe, you have to spend INR 12.99 lakh and INR 17.99 lakh respectively.
