Alfa Romeo, the Italy based automobile company has released a vague picture of its all new Sedan Alfa Romeo Giulia. According to this teased image, the upcoming sedan will be officially introduced for the first time on June, 24. However, the actual name has not been confirmed yet for this all new model. Reportedly, this sedan, coming with an all new design and powertrain is likely to compete with the Mercedes Benz C-Class, Audi A4 and BMW 3-Series. It is expected to come in both all-wheel drive as well as rear-wheel drive options. The rear drive architecture is likely to be inspired from Maserati Ghibli.
Coming to the powertrain, this all new sedan will be a high performance vehicle. The base model will be equipped with a 2 litre, 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, while the top ranging model will get a twin-turbo 3 litre, V6 diesel engine producing a power of 510 Hp, derived from Ferrari. The engine will be clubbed with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and apart from this, a manual 6-speed gearbox will also be on the offer.
After being introduced on June, 24 the new Sedan will be landing to the European showrooms by the month of February or march, next year. Let's wait and watch for other features to be disclosed by the company on this coming Wednesday.
