Piaggio India which offers Vespa and Aprilia brands has updated the available range of scooters with the mandatory feature of CBS or ABS depending upon the engine displacement. The Vespa scooters range in India has products in 125cc range likewise Notte, LX, VXL, SXL, and SXL Matt as a newbie. While the models in the 150cc range consist of VXL, SXL, SXL Matt (new) and Elegante. On the other hand, the Aprilia scooters lineup is blessed with models like the SR125, SR150 and the SR150 RACE as well. Due to the inclusion of CBS or ABS, the pricing of the aforementioned models has also been updated.

It has now been upgraded with the CBS fitment which makes it priced at INR 72k (ex-sh). Next in line, the LX 125 is available to purchase at INR 76k. While further, followers like the VXL 125, SXL, new SXL Matte will cost INR 90k, INR 93K and INR 94k respectively.

In the Vespa lineup, the LX 125 is the most selling scooter. It draws design inspiration from the original 1960s Italian scooter which offers it a retro appeal that helps in creating a different fan base in the country. The round headlamp, curvy body panels and minimalistic design are a few among scooters’ major highlights. While its aggressive, front leaning stance pulls the majority of the young audience. In the 150cc engine displacement range, the Vespa VXL 150 is the most affordable scooter tagged with the price sticker of INR 1 lakh, ex-sh. Next in line, the SXL retails at INR 1.04 lakh. Then comes the Matte finished SXL variant which is priced at INR 1.05 lakh. Last but not least, the Elegante is the most expensive scooter offering in this 150cc scooter lineup at INR 1.1 lakh, ex-sh. If the on-road prices of the Vespa Scooters are considered, it ranges from INR 88k to Rs 1.31 lakhs.
Moving forward, the Aprilia scooters which have the SR 125 CBS as the most affordable offering, costs INR 71k, ex-sh. Above it is the SR150 CBS which retails at INR 82k while the most expensive in all the SR 150 Race is priced at INR 91k. All the mentioned prices here are ex-showroom. If the on-road prices of the Aprilia scooters are considered, it will fall in the vicinity of INR 87k to INR 1.13 lakhs.
