Vespa VXL and Vespa SXL Spotted Before Launch

The Italian scooter manufacturer Vespa is going to launch a new variant of Vespa VX and Vespa S in the Indian two-wheeler market tomorrow. Both the scooters, Vespa VXL and Vespa SXL will be launched by the company's global brand ambassador and football player, named Alessandro Del Piero. Thus, the company have a number of followers all over the world for their specifically designed retro styled yet stylish scooters. Currently, Vespa India is having four models of Vespa Scooters that are Vespa, Vespa VX, Vespa S and Elegante. Now, the company will add two new iconic variants of in the row of Vespa tomorrow. And, also planning to introduce more models with higher capacity engine in the upcoming months.

Vespa VXL and Vespa SXL Spotted Before Launch

In terms of design and look, the new Vespa SXL gets a Giddy Blue color, while the Vespa VXL has been painted with Stately Metallic Grey color. Thus, both the models will be available in other color options. The Vespa VXL and Vespa SXL are featured with front disc brake, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and semi-digital instrument cluster.

From the technical side, in addition of cosmetic updates, the Italian scooter maker has not made any changes in its technical unit as the new Vespa VXL and Vespa SXL are powered by the same 125cc single cylinder 3Valves engine that produce 10 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and 10.6 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission. Both the models are to be priced Rs 2000 to 3000 higher than the standard variants. The price of the current Vespa VX is Rs. 74,273 and Vespa S is Rs. 78,495.
