Recently, the car brand Jaguar, has released a video clip of its all new SUV, the F-Pace. This upcoming model will be premiered at the Frankfurt Auto Show to be held in September, 2015. According to this video, the F-pace will derive its design from Jaguar CX-17 which was unveiled in the year 2013 at the Frankfurt Auto Show. It will have five-spoke alloy wheels, LED headlamps and taillights along with curved yellow LED lights on the side mirrors. The grille will have a honeycomb pattern with the brand's emblem etched on it. This model will make use of aluminium architecture derived from the XE model thereby reducing some weight.
The interior of the model is yet to be revealed, but there is a possibility that this SUV is also equipped with the same features that are found in other Jaguar variants like InControl infotainment system, Bowers and Wilkins audio system, a center console coloured in piano black and an F-type steering wheel.
Discussing the powertrain, this model will offer a new Ingenium four-cylinder diesel and petrol units clubbed with a 9-speed automatic gearbox for transmission. Apart from this, a 3 litre, V6 engine could also be available in both diesel and petrol variants.
This all new SUV is likely to be manufactured at Jaguar's Solihull production plant. It will be launched in the European market by the first quarter of next year, while the Indian market will not witness its launch until the end of 2016.
