Volkswagen Ameo Pace has been introduced in the country with a price tag of Rs. 6.10 Lakh (ex-showroom, India). This edition also joins the last month launched the Polo Pace and Vento Sport from Volkswagen group. The Ameo pace joins the group of top-end Highline trim of the subcompact sedan with this price range and it will be available in the market with some interior and exterior feature revisions.
Attraction box in the Ameo Pace takes black finished outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs), the carbon-fibre finished rear spoiler, cruise control and new alloy wheel design.
You can judge the change by looking at the chrome bits made on the bumper and the grille. You will find a standard audio system along with USB, Bluetooth connectivity and Aux-in instead of touchscreen infotainment system along with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. Concerning the power, it takes a 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine which is able to churn out a maximum power of 108 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual and a DSG automatic transmission choices. The pivotal attraction is the 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine which will replace the 1.2-litre petrol engine in Ameo pace and generates 75 bhp of power and 95 Nm of peak torque. The standard Volkswagen Ameo Highline is available with a price tag of Rs. 7.45 lakh and subsequently, makes Pace edition slightly cheaper.
