The new sport edition of Volkswagen Ameo, Polo and Vento launched at a price tag of Rs 8.30 lakh, Rs. 6.93 lakh and Rs 10.70 lakh in India. The Vento was launched in March and this time it receives the price update. The launch of the models indicates that the company wants to raise the cash for the upcoming FIFA football championship.
Previously, the sport models have relied on the top-spec car models along with same equipment list and features. The features making it different are the faux carbon-fiber finish on distal mirrors, black rear spoiler, sport decals on the doors and the blacked-out roof.
The sport editions receive no update in mechanics and are approachable with diesel and petrol engine choices across standard models. Although, the Vento sport diesel variant is available with only the automatic trim.

As reported previously, Volkswagen was that time in integration mode in the country and was not likely to introduce any new models in India in recent time. The company is working on non-product phases of the business. The Volkswagen arrangement with Skoda to bring new models in the country, but the first batch of models is expected to away few years.
The Volkswagen stopped the production of the 1.2-litre petrol engine and restored it with a 1.0-litre engine. It also came with limited-edition, mid-spec Pace models of the Ameo and Polo.
