Till date, it’s just a report that German automaker Volkswagen is planning to restart its budget car project with the cooperation of Tata Motors. No Doubt, Nano is the name for which Tata Motors can say what really small as well as budget car is and might be for this particular reason VW is taking real interest in Tata’s partnership.
The VW management has also been discussing the idea with Tata Motors, stated by Manager Magazin - a German Publication. Well, the final decision has yet to come whether Tata will produce the model completely or will just give an idea to VW, however, it is rumored that once the model gets launched, it will target markets like India and China.
After going through the serious emission issue, the company has faced such a heavy downfall in its sales, hence the new idea can be the best one to overcome from all that difficulties. Anyway, it’s no secret that the demand of small cars not only in India but across the world is much high in comparison to the other segments. Looks like the German carmaker is studying the market well and definitely coming up with all new technology to retain its position in the market.
