The Japanese two-wheeler maker, Yamaha which is in the phase of freshening its Indian product portfolio. The recently done innovative customer centric activities supporting the giant in increasing the sales figure in the Indian motoring market. In the last few months, the venture added the Yamaha Ray-Z and the Cygnus Alpha in its stable, which altogether with Yamaha Fascino and FZ series doing well for the company.

As from the recent sales outcome, besides being the most expensive Yamaha scooter, Fascino manages to cross the 20,000 mark monthly sales with the outstanding domestic sales number 21,604 in April 2016.
Having youth as its target audience, Yamaha Fascino carries an 113cc, single cylinder, 2-valve, four strokes, SOHC engine that churns an excellent power figure of 7.1 bhp at 7,50 rpm and torque of 8.1 Nm at 5,000 revs. The engine setup is connected to an automatic transmission to supply the power to the rear wheel. The Yamaha Blue Core technology blessed engine provides the claimed fuel efficiency of 66 Kmpl. This smaller capacity scooter on behalf of its better fuel economy and competitive pricing lock horn with the lifestyle vehicle rival Vespa.
On records, this is the first time when Fascino leaves behind the premium 150cc motorcycles- FZ, FZ-S, and Fazer, which always hits the top spot in the Yamaha sales register. But if go threw the scooter sales in April, it is much far away from the popular scooter as TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa 3G in the Indian scooters market.
