It is not the first time when the Yamaha Fazer 250 has been spotted performing test runs. But the interesting thing is this fully faired sports runner has been seen without any camouflage covering.
At the powerhouse, the Yamaha Fazer 250 will be equipped with the same 249cc engine shared from the FZ25. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox transmission, the engine is said to generate the maximum power of 20.9 HP along with 20 Nm of peak torque. The braking facility at the wheels of this quarter-liter sports beast will be a 282 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc to offer precise braking in emergency conditions.
It is also expected the manufacturer can offer the advanced safety of ABS, as an optional extra. While the Yamaha Fazer 250 will suspend on the 41 mm conventional telescopic front forks and a rear mono shock with preload adjustment facility.
Comparatively, the major difference between the recently launched naked runner FZ and the upcoming Fazer 250 will be the full fairing placement on the later one. Altogether, the full-fairing will offer an aerodynamic feature to keep the bike stable at the high speed. While the featured visor will prevent the excessive wind blast at that high speed.
When will the Fazer 250 will make its debut in the Indian market, is yet not revealed by the Yamaha but expectations are the tourer motorcycle could hit the dealership sometimes by October 2017. The pricing for the Fazer 250 could set with a premium of Rs. 20,000 to 25,000/- over the Yamaha FZ25.
