Recently launched a 250cc naked street fighter offering from Yamaha Motor India, the FZ25 has started arriving at the dealerships. The posted images on the internet by MCP Yamaha, a dealership in Kerala is confirming it that the FZ25 is available in all three colour options of blue, black and white there. As promised at the launch event, the auto major has started the deliveries of the motorcycle in few cities, while the others will witness the same against already booked motorcycles, sooner than expected in this month.
Tagged with a price sticker of INR 1,19,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi), all new FZ25 is undercutting all the motorcycles in this 250cc segment. Though, it is really wondering that besides not being fitted with that top-end specs, the quarter-liter road runner proves itself worthy owing to best torque figures and for a niggle free ride quality in this price segment.
In terms of performance, with a claimed mileage of 43kmpl, the FZ25 can be considered as the Honda Unicorn 150 of the 250 segment. And, It is much focused to offer a daily commute ride quality, not to perform more aggressively like a Duke 250.
According to a biker from Valsad Gujarat who owned the motorcycle, the FZ25 costed INR 1.40 lakh on road, and will be accessible at the same amount in most of the cities across the country. The one who have booked for the FZ25, will have to wait a some more, as the motorcycle will be soon available at the authorised Yamaha dealership, and deliver to their prospective buyers.
