Yamaha India has rolled out a Dark Night edition for three of its model in the existing lineup. The new version is apparently attractive in looks owing to the cosmetic changes and a new matte black paint scheme with chrome stickers. The FZS-FI, Cygnus Ray ZR, and the Saluto RX are the selected models from the bike maker.
Powering for the naked street FZS-FI will come from the similar 149cc air-cooled and fuel-injected powerplant of the ongoing. The engine is claimed to pump out the peak power of 13.2PS at 8000rpm along with 12.8Nm of peak twisting force at 6000 rpm. Available in the six colour options of matte black (Dark Night), gray, cyan, red, white and green, the motorcycle weighs 132kgs and gets 12-litre capacity fuel tank. To purchase the Yamaha FZS-FI, you will have to spend Rs 83,042 (ex-Delhi).
With a unique front end, the youth oriented Cygnus Ray ZR is powered by a 113cc air-cooled and carburetted single. The engine develops the maximum power of 7.2PS at 7,500 rpm and the peak torque of 8.1Nm at 5000rpm. Available to select from a list of colours including matte black (Dark Night), matte green, white blue and red, the Dark Night variant gets premium features of tubeless tyres and an optional disc brake. The scooter weighs 103kgs and has a 5.2 litres fuel tank. You can retail it at Rs. 53,451 (ex-Delhi).
The Saluto RX from the Yamaha’s 110cc commuter segment gets propelling power from the 110cc air-cooled single that churns out 7.5PS at 7000rpm and 8.5Nm of torque at 4500rpm.
Weighing 98kgs, the bike features an electric start option and alloy wheels. The motorcycle is available in five colors-matte black with red or chrome graphics (Dark Night), blue, black and red. The Saluto RX is tagged with the price chit of Rs 47,721 (ex-Delhi).
To opt a new Dark Night colour on the above mentioned Yamahas, the only thing you have to do is spending Rs. 1000 more over the regular variant.
