The Japanese manufacturer is readying to introduce the all new smashing 2015 Yamaha R1 in the first quarter of the 2015. Likewise, the Yamaha R25 is also preparing itself to enter the Indian boundaries following the launch of the liter-class motorcycle. The firm has confirmed the arrival of both the motorcycles in the consecutive months; March and April, of 2015. Well, it clearly indicates that the arrival of both these motorcycles will surely heat-up the Indian two-wheeler market.
Yamaha has also mentioned in the announcement that they will be going to commence the dealer training for the upcoming Yamaha R25 all across the country. The Japanese manufacturer will be providing training following the protocols of the quarter-liter motorcycle, not for the Yamaha R3. Talking about the dealer service training, it would be conducted once a month and the manufacturer also showcases the test bike to the dealers to get them know the motorcycle in a better manner. The Japanese manufacturer will not be making any mechanical changes in the Indian version sports motorcycle so it would probably be coming with ABS installed as standard.
The upcoming 2015 Yamaha R25 will be equipped with a parallel-twin cylinder, DOHC motor configuration. The 249cc displaced engine is tuned to generate a total power of 35.5 BHP @ 12,000 revs and a peak torque of 22.6 Nm @ 10,000 RPM. The engine is mated to 6-speed transmission. In order to enhance the riding quality of the quarter-liter sports motorcycle, the firm has installed telescopic front forks and monoshock at the rear. The stopping power will be taken care by disc brakes at both front and rear, accompanied by ABS.
The top speed attained by the quarter-liter sports motorcycle is 196 KMPH, as it touches the very same over the dyno run. The 2015 Yamaha R25 will be expected to carry a price tag in between Rs 2.75 Lacs to Rs 3.50 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
