The Japanese auto-giant, Yamaha has introduced its first 150cc flagship model of R15 previously in 2008. Later in 2011, another updated variant of the same Tourer unveiled by the company as version 2. It was supposed to be launched the third updated model as R15 version 3 or V3 in 2015, but the brand went for the original version 1 as the R15 S.
Working on the production of the YZF R15 V3 model is still in progress, reported by an automotive Indonesian website. So, those who were thinking that the updated R15 V3 has got its engineering ceased here, fortunately, they are wrong. Some speculative rendering images of the upcoming Tourer have started rolling around and they clearly depict that the V3 variant is furnished with the features of the recently launched Street-fighter Yamaha M-Slaz.

Basically, R15 V3 has inherited features from the M-Slaz including the upside forks, an eminent hardware component needs to be there on the R15. A few of other perceptible bits include the front fascia, which is now having a spiky dual-headlight fairing, lowered pillion seat, new alloy wheels, and revamped body dynamics. Besides this, modifications have also been made in the design of the fairing and tank to make them a bit glossy.
Gazing over the Powertrain, the R15 V3 has a heart of the same 150cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that is tuned for 17PS of power and 15NM of torque. When it comes to pricing, we can reckon that the new R15 V3 would be priced higher than the continuing R15 V2. Till now, no official words about the unveiling of the bike has been announced by Yamaha, but we do hope that some peppy news regarding the same would come to us with the forthcoming Auto Expo.
