After 18 months of fabricating affair, the Japanese automaker has finally revealed its all new Yamaha XV950 Racer. The Japanese two-wheeler maker is working with some of the world's leading custom-makers, which particularly concludes as Yamaha XV950 Racer. The outcome of the Yamaha yard built is completely inspired from the Marcus Walz's "El Raton Asesino" motorcycle. Talking about the base of the newly showcased cafe-racer, it has come up from the Yamaha Star Bolt. The Yamaha XV950 packed up with an air-cooled, V-twin motor carrying an engine displacement of 942cc. The V-twin engine is capable to deliver 52 horsepower @ 5500 RPM and achieves a peak torque of 79.5 Nm @ 3000 revs. The 942cc displaced engine is mated to a 5-speed constant transmission. The suspension duties have been taken care by the very same components which were used over the base model, but offers better riding quality than the standard model.

The new cosmetic changes acquired by the Yamaha XV950 are clip-on handlebars, steel rear fender, newly designated blinkers at the lower triple clamp and the seat cowl. The surrounding across the headlamp has its own glorifying beauty. The custom-maker have acquired the cafe-racer styling by offering forward-leaning riding position. The tyres ae from Michelin and the dedicated Akrapovic exhaust tail along with the muffler is taken care of the liter-class engine's roar.
