The DJI Inspire 1 is the latest iteration in the series which also houses a retractable landing gear. The countless number of features have been embedded into this gadget which introduces new possibilities for imaging, photography and surveillance. The drone has the mechanism of folding the legs to some extent. The central housing can rotate in almost any direction but not the direction in its north (obviously), to capture a 360 degree image or video. The Drone’s legs were limiting the rotation of the camera to an extent, but with the introduction of Inspire one, the area of the shoot has managed to see a better world than before. This also has widened up the scope of imaging, which was asking for bigger, bulkier and expensive products for the respective purpose.

The basic function and commands can be transmitted to the device via remote equipment. It can be directed for a destination upto which it has to go. While returning, it will note the position of take off and rest will be followed accordingly. If the user or the remote has switched their positions, then the “follow me” feature will bring the copter down at the current position of the remote. The gadget packs in a lot of practical aspects, but the real thing is its price, which somehow justifies to the world against the more affordable drones available in the market.
