The CP+ show has started presenting the clicking devices and the whole Yokohama is engaged in crafting their own bunch of collage to frame the correct product picture. Zooming the event in, the show has got a lot to unveil, but the first thing under the aperture came out to the 9 splendid launches from the Nikon’s bench. The series of cameras carries the benchmarks for point and shoot category.
The begging part of the Nikon has always been the picture quality and here the expectations are really high due to strong market competition. The 9 gadgets introduced by the company borrow some of the mixed as well as some specifically focused snappers. Here, the focus has been kept over the products designed for the US market.
Driving into the initial category, the point and shoot cameras for casual photography and mild usage and that can be kept in your pocket space include the Coolpix L32, S3700 and S33. The attraction points of this camera are underwater face detection and miniature effect video recording.
The premium cameras in the point and shoot category including S9900, S7000, and S6900 have also shown their facets at the show.
These clicking machines will be the initial associates of the people entering the world of imaging, leaving their smartphones behind. The S9900 snapper here is a successor to the S9700 with almost same features comprising of 30X zoom, 16 megapixel sensor and compact dimensions. The added icing over the pie is the NFC connectivity which makes it cost $350. The earlier version is still a great deal if the NFC doesn’t play any role in your creativity.
The S7000 and S6900 are closely matched with 16 megapixel CMOS sensor and NFC/WIFI support. the first one here optically magnifies the object upto 20X and also carries time lapse video recording with 18 scene modes, while the later gets it for 12X of optical zoom and 20 scene modes. Sparing $280 and $230 respectively will be good for these snappers.
The bridge lineup at the event was diagnosed with P610 and L840. The P610 is nothing more than a P600 with built in NFC and WIFI. The GPS and full HD recording at 60 frames per second will also be on the role in the new product. The borrowed elements from the last generation product include 60X optical zoom, 3 inch vari-angle LCD and 16.1 megapixel CMOS sensor. This camera has everything which its predecessor had along with some newly added connectivity features and hence, these features are the deciding initiatives of the product.
Concerning the second in the bridge lineup, the L840 is a lighter one carrying 38X zoom and 16 megapixel CMOS sensor. It also boasts connectivity aspects as the other snappers here. The P610 and L840 can be grabbed for $500 and $300 respectively.
