The Selfie snappers are usually restricted to the smartphones and small digicams. This time, Olympus has brought a decent camera for partial purpose of Selfies and it houses a good set of features to accomplish the needs to enthusiasts as well. This mode can be put into operation by flipping down the LCD screen mounted at the rear fraction of the camera. A single tap over it snaps down the picture with a slight lag in processing sequential photographs.
It seems that Olympus is trying to reverse the ongoing custom. Till now people were trying to adjust with the autonomic shoots via Smartphone devices, which might go vice versa here.
The Olympus PEN E-PL7 is a mirrorless camera with 16 mega pixel CMOS sensor. It can shoot with a velocity of 8 frames per second and has 3-axis image stabilization for perfect picture output. The photos can be easily shared using WIFI. The controlling of the camera can also be executed via this facility.
The alleged camera is equipped with 3-axis image stabilization technique, which keeps the balance between horizontal, vertical and over the axis rotation and deviations for minimum distortions of the pictures. This function is beneficial while shooting selfies as this kind of photography is usually performed while operating camera with the single hand. Along with this, it also equipped with TruePic VII image processor and M.ZUIKO lenses for best detailing, higher resolution and color reproduction.
The lag caused while taking the self photographs using the on screen touch panel is actually an added benefit for the people or the object to get a correct pose for the consecutive three shots. The time gap between each shot is for about 1 second, which is good to have a switch over the expressions. The electronic zoom lens helps in zooming up the face while covering the whole background in wide angle.
The camera is about to release in the month of September. It will carry a face value of $600 without the kit lens and $700 with 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 standard zoom lens.
