Acer Aspire Switch 12, a 5-in-1 Convertible hybrid Notebook Announced

Acer has just made entry in the Laptop market with its completely new inventions in the portable PC market. Company has brought two new laptops- Aspire V Nitro Black Edition and Aspire Switch 12. Both have appeared to show their special appeal in the laptop segment. One has come to show brilliant experience with its 4K display while the other has 5 devices in1 to make its 5-in-1 convertible laptop. We have discussed here about the hybrid laptop device.

The Aspire Switch 12 is designed so beautifully to lure customers with its 5-in-1 convertible capability. 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 PCs are already available in market, but a 5-in-1 notebook is just the biggest invention in the convertible devices’ market.

Acer Aspire Switch 12 Hybrid with 12.5-inch display is the sibling of Aspire Switch 11, but with more flexibility. This device comes bundled with a detachable keyboard and an integrated stand. The flexibility of this tablet can be seen with its multiple use as a traditional desktop, notebook, display, tent, and as a tablet. The desktop mode is purely new and will surely be added to improve the usability of 5-in-1 notebook. In this mode, the keyboard is detached from the screen and together, both of them behave like a traditional desktop.

The tablet cum laptop offers the stunning 12.5-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass to protect from scratches, dust and cracks. The Intel Core M processor powers the device which was specially developed for hybrid tablet and 2-in-1 devices. This hybrid device will come in two storage variants- 60GB and 120GB. The Aspire Switch 12 looks quite stylish with dual speakers on the front side.

It also comes loaded with HDMI port and USB 3.0 port for connectivity purpose. Acer Active Pen also comes paired with device. On the other side, for meeting with the need of tablet mode, an optional stylus is being offered along with this 5-in-1 convertible notebook. The availability of this multipurpose hybrid device for US and Canada market is confirmed. First Quarter of 2015 will be the time to taste this 5-in-1 hybrid system.
