Apple has announced a new iPad rolled out in India. The iPad Mini 4 has been made available in India with a price tag starting at Rs. 28,900 for the Wi-Fi only model, while the Wi-Fi+ Cellular model is priced at Rs. 38,900. The availability of the device is only through Infibeam. It is reported by the company that the device is available for now only on the carrier named Infibeam, but soon will be placed on the other online stores along with the retail shops to fetch the sale.
With the retailer offering the discount on the device right now, it can be clubbed up with the freebies. The prices quoted for the different variants of the same model is being figured as follows: The iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi with 16GB is available for Rs. 28,900, the 64GB version is for Rs. 35,900, and the 128GB Rs. 42,900, while the iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi + Cellular with 16GB costs Rs. 38,900, the 64GB version costs Rs. 45,900, and 128GB version for Rs. 52,900.
The Apple iPad Mini 4 features 7.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. It is powered by A8 chipset that is coupled with 2GB of RAM. It also has a scratch-resistant screen as well as oleophobic coating that prevents the surface from the external harms. Under the hood it has a 5124mAh battery support that is considered to be huge enough to surface a large display. It has a Touch ID fingerprint sensor additionally added. The shooter’s side has 8MP to the rear and 1.2MP to the front.
With such an alluring specification list, the company is expecting to sell the new launch to the triple number as per the older devices. But a lesser unit was pre booked and sold that left the company with no greater results in sale. The trade partners said that, buyers expect the prices of the iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus to fall once the phone becomes widely available. With the time rolling out, the bookings have just raised by 10 to 15 percent.
