Presenting its laptops, tablets and smartwatch at IFA 2014, Asus has again come out with a new Windows tablet, dubbed VivoTab 8 (M81C). However, no information has been provided regarding its availability and pricing. This tablet is operated on Windows 8.1 OS and looks stunning with its slightly curved sides.
Asus VivoTab 8 (M81C) gets 8-inch WXGA LED-backlit IPS display which provides the screen resolution of 1280x800 pixels. Adding efficiency to the device, 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 processor works to enhance the performance at 1.8GHz clock frequency. There is 1GB of RAM is also crafted inside the device to make execution smooth.
VivoTab 8 (M81C) is coupled with 32GB built-in storage and comes with microSD card slot which can store upto 64GB of data. User will also take the benefit of free 5GB Life Time Asus Webstorage Space. 11GB additional storage would also be offering for customers for a year. On the other side, it sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and the same for front-facing camera.
VivoTab 8 (M81C) is listed with GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity features. To deliver upto 8 hours of backup, this tablet is packed with 5.2Wh battery. You can get the Blue, White, Black, and Golden color options for this device.
Asus had unveiled its ZenWatch (Smartwatch), Memo Pad 7 (Tablet) at IFA and also made its come back in its EeeBook series with EeeBook X205. Few names in the list of Windows 8.1 based tablets which were launched at IFA 2014 are Acer Iconia Tab 8 W, Toshiba Encore Mini and many more.
