Based on Android Lollipop, Samsung Galaxy Tab A Series Tablets Launched

As we know, the South Korean giant: Samsung is a talk of the town since the derivation of high-end smartphones: Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge as well as it has appeared in innumerable tidings due to upcoming waterproof Galaxy S6 Active and rugged Xcover 3 handsets. And now, this Conglomerate Corporation again managed to heat up the cyberspace by secretly launching two Galaxy Tab A series tablets at a press event in Russia, which will hit the marketplace of Russia next month.

According to SamMobile, tech giant has basically designed 8-inch and 9.7-inch variants of its brand-new Galaxy Tab A, where both models incorporate almost identical specs and they bear metal-looking rear panels. Discussing about the specifications, the display of slates produce same pixel resolution of 1024 x 768p, which translates to pixel density of 160ppi and 132ppi for 8-inch and 9.7-inch models.

The devices are power packed with 1.2GHz quad-core processors that is presumably Snapdragon 410 chipset. On imaging front, gadgets are comprised with 5-megapixel main cameras alongside 2-megapixel selfie snappers. Here, most highlighted feature of tabs is inclusion of latest and more optimized version of TouchWiz UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and 4G connectivity option.

On memory front, handhelds are arrayed with 16GB of expandable internal storage that can be expanded upto 128GB by using a microSD card. As per GSMArena, the larger edition is integrated with a huge 6000mAh battery and houses two loudspeakers in just 7.5 mm thin body. While, its sibling is armed with a smaller 4200mAh battery.

Here, both devices have been said to go on sale in two connectivity versions: Wi-Fi and LTE Models. The Galaxy Tab A 8-inch Wi-Fi edition is expected to be priced between RUB 16,990 to RUB 18,990. Whereas, its LTE-enabled variant will cost around RUB 20,990 to RUB 22,990. On the other hand, Wi-Fi and LTE variants of Galaxy Tab A 9.7-inch model will be priced between RUB 20,990 to RUB 22,990 and RUB 24,990-26,990 respectively.
