No-one knew that Computers will become that affordable. Tiny electronic products have made this possible. Devices with Raspberry Pi are the leaders in the cheap PCs. But, what if you find a normal PC would become the cheapest with only $9 price tag? Well, a new system has come to compete with all such Raspberry Pi devices which got the name CHIP.
CHIP is the tiny computer which is being offered by the crowd-funding website Kickstarter. All functionalities come inbuilt in this device. It is developed by a firm Next Thing Co. Simply pay $9 and make this PC yours, a very small amount to spend on a computer.
It’s just a developer board with 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB inbuilt storage, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. You cn enjoy games and videos by plugging a keyboard and display. The tiny PC measures 2.3 x 1.5 inches in size. You can not only enjoy watching videos, but can also code on this computer. CHIP make everything possible with its small size.
It Bluetooth support will make connectivity of wireless peripherals possible. Wi-Fi on other side blesses it with the option of network connectivity. Well, making CHIP such small in size and such low in price, the manufacturer has almost knocked the socks off. We can’t say about its official launch. It will make debut next year in May, expected date is May 16, 2016.
