HP has reached Berlin to showcase its Hybrid systems and Chromebooks at IFA 2014. Company has unveiled its 5 consumer electronic devices on Friday, September 5 - two HP Envy 2-in-1 detachable hybrids and two colorful Chromebook models and ultraportable 2-in-1 HP Pavilion x2.
On the other side, HP Pavilion x2 is a tablet with all smart features which comes with ultraportable nature. It’s a 10-inch Windows tablet comes bundled with detachable keyboard cover to convert it into tablet. It is backed by a battery which can deliver upto 11.75 hours of battery life powered by Intel Atom processor which is capable enough to boast the performance.
11-inch HP Chromebook and 14-inch HP Chromebook are light and very sleek in design and almost share the identical features. Both devices are varied in size but offer the same screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels. Both offer 8 hours, 15 minutes of battery backup and come with Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 ports and optional mobile LTE/HSPA support.
Nvidia Tegra K1 processor is used to power the 14-inch Chromebook while 1.6-inch model takes the power from Intel Celeron N2830 processor. Both have front facing webcam. The 11 inch model is priced at $199.99 and will be available on turquoise or white colors, while $299.99 would be priced for 14-inch model and will reach in market with turquoise, neon green, orange or silver color options.
And, the last one, HP Envy x2 detachable hybrids are identical in looks and features except the screen size. One has 13.3-inch screen and other one has 15.6-inch. Both are equipped with Intel Core M processor which is latest one. Both have arrived with a promise of delivering long hours of battery backup. One more difference among both is their storage section, which tells 256GB of solid-state storage support for 13-inch model. On the other side, the 15-inch model will come with 500GB hybrid hard drive.
It is expected that all of these device would make their entry in US market in the holiday season.
