HP Spectre 13 - World's Thinnest Laptop Launched in India

HP the American multinational IT company known for providing IT services to its customers has finally revealed and launched its flagship product the Spectre 13 in India. The laptop known as World's Thinnest Laptop by its makers, the U.S. firm bears a thickness of 10.4mm which definitely is more slender that both the 12-inch MacBook and the 13-inch MacBook Air. The laptop has been priced nearly for INR 1,19,990 in India and is expected to go on sale from this Saturday.

HP Spectre 13 carries a weight of 1.11 kg which stands on the higher scale as compared to Macbook with 0.92 kg, but when it is compared to MacBook Air, it gets on the lighter side since MacBook Air carries a weight of 1.35 kg. Not just the thickness, it also is the first laptop in the premium range to go on sale featuring the brand new logo of the company. One must recall that the laptop got unveiled back in April only.

On the design aspects, the laptop comes with a carbon fiber and aluminium casing that makes this laptop both lightweight as well as durable. It additionally comes with a two-tone finish with a copper colored spine and sports three USB Type-C ports, along with the 13.3-inch full-HD WLED-backlit IPS display that gets a finishing touch with the layering of 0.4mm Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

It additionally bears a full-size island-style backlit keyboard that gives it an aesthetic look combined with dual HP speakers powered by Bang and Olufsen sound on either side.

Taking into consideration the ongoing trend, HP has equipped this laptop with Microsoft's latest OS i.e., Windows 10 coupled with Intel's 6th-Generation Core i5 or Core i7 processors with Intel HD Graphics, SSD storage capacity up to 512GB, and 8GB of LPDDR3-1866MHz RAM as the basic components.

The company also believes that the 4-cell 38Whr Li-ion battery inside the device can keep the tablet running for 9.5 hours on a single charge.
