HP has decided to expand its tablet market in India and to settle in the country, the Company has finally unveiled a Windows 8.1 powered tablet. The HP Stream 8 has been unwrapped for Indian market at a price of Rs. 16,990. HP’s online store and Flipkart have begun selling this device without any prior information.
This tablet had made its first entry last year in September along with one more device Stream 7. This 3G enabled tablet flaunts an 8-inch anti-glare IPS display which offers the screen output of 1280 x 800 pixels. This tablet is designed to offer the best Windows experience with its Windows 8.1 OS support. The elegant device takes the power from Intel Atom Bay Trail 1.8 GHz Quad-Core processor which boosts the performance efficiently with Intel HD Graphics. The spellbinding 1GB DDR3 RAM needs no word to explain its functionality.
HP Stream 8 offers 32GB built-in storage and for expanding it more, there is a microSD card slot inside the device to store upto 32GB data. This tablet also comes embedded with a SIM slot. So, making and receiving phone calls can also be done with this tablet. With 410 grams weight and 8.9 mm thin design, this HP tablet has pretty aesthetic.
On the rear panel, HP Stream 8 bears a 5MP snapper for imaging purpose. A 2MP front shooter is also on-board for video calling and selfie purposes.
