The noted manufacturer of premium-looking devices, Huawei finally made an awe-inspiring entry into ongoing Mobile World Congress 2015 with a beautifully-designed tablet, called MediaPad X2. As we know, MWC 2015 event is becoming crowded day-by-day due to arrival of various smart devices of leading brands such as Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, HTC One M9 and Lenovo Vibe Shot. And now, Chinese giant has introduced its novel scion in order to heat up the show as well as to beat the currently present plus-size handhelds.
The most highlighted part of newly-announced gadget is assimilation of Google's latest operating system: Android 5.0 Lollipop with company's own Emotion UI 3.0. The successor of MediaPad X1 offers 4G-LTE connectivity option to provide faster internet as well as paired with dual-SIM card slots with voice calling support.
The brand-new heir of MediaPad family has managed to incorporate 64-bit 2GHz Kirin930 octa-core processor (quad-core 2GHz + quad-core 1.5GHz) alongside Mali-T628 GPU in its 7.28mm slender body. In terms of imaging, it's arrayed with a 13-megapixel BSI rear camera and comprises a front snapper of 5-megapixel.
Talking about RAM and internal memory, then tab has been designed in different configurations, where it will go on sale in 2GB & 3GB RAM models and 16GB & 32GB ROM variants. Here, its inbuilt storage can be extended upto 128GB via a microSD card.
As per corporation, Huawei MediaPad X2 is powered by a 5000mAh lithium polymer battery, which delivers 24 days of standby time and 3.5 hours of charging time. Notably, device features an elegant 7-inch FHD IPS LTPS touch display that produces a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1200p and pixel density of 323ppi.
Furthermore, this new creation of firm will be showcased on the ledges of retail stores in two color models: Silver and Gold, but an exact date of availability as well as pricing details are yet-to-be disclosed.
