iBall has launched its new tablet under its new Slide series. The newly launched tablet is dubbed as iBall Slide Bio-Mate. The device has gone for a sale via a third-party online retailer at a price tag of Rs. 7,399. It is also listed on the company's site. However, the company is yet to reveal the tablet in the country.
The main USP of the Bio-Mate tablet is its fingerprint scanner and can configure up to 5 fingerprints.
The tablet is featuring an 8-inch HD IPS display having a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. For the storage, it bears an 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion.
The dual SIM based tablet runs on Android 5.1 based Lollipop operating system out of the box. The tablet also supports voice calling feature. On the photography end, the iBall Slide Bio-Mate is loaded with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front facing camera on the board. The rear camera supports features such as Panorama, face beauty, motion track mode, Live Photo, zero shutters, voice capture, face detection, smile shot, auto scene detection, Continuous Shot, HDR, Self-timer, and V-gesture.
For the connectivity, the device includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG. It is backed by a 4300mAh battery which iBall claims can offer up to 20 days, up to 5 hours of video playback, up to 30 hours of music playback, and up to 25 hours of talk time.
