Lenovo, the Chinese-American tech company, has launched its latest 2-in-1 convertible Flex 11 Chromebook. This Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook is a 2-in-1 device with a 360-degree rotating hinge, allowing the laptop to be used in a number of different modes. Being touted as a mainstream consumer device, the Flex 11 comes loaded with Google’s Chrome operating system, support for the Google Play Store to run Android apps and comes with a sturdy and durable device that makes this lightweight computer a good fit for the home and classroom environments.
The Flex 11 comes with an 11.6-inch multi-touch IPS display and the 360-degree hinge allows users to switch between laptop, tablet, tent, and media modes. The touchscreen will be beneficial for running Android apps from the Play Store, but unlike the rival Samsung Chromebook Plus, this device doesn’t come with support for an active digitizer, a move likely made to keep costs low. This latest Lenovo laptop pricing starts from $279 (Approx. Rs. 18,000) and will be made available to buy from the next month.

As stated above, the Lenovo Flex 11 operates on Chrome operating system and has support to run Android Apps as well. The laptop has been powered by a quad-core 2.1GHz ARM processor and comes with 4GB of RAM packed along with 32GB of internal storage. On the connectivity front, this latest Lenovo laptop has been incorporated with the HDMI, USB 3.0, an audio jack, USB Type-C and an SD card slot.
The company has claimed that the battery inside the laptop is capable of providing up to 10 Hours of battery life. The Flex 11 laptop weighs 1.36kg and has the drop-resistant design that allows it to withstand fall from even 2.4 feet. The Lenovo has also claimed that the laptop has been included with water resistant keyboard, which is capable of handling water spills of up to 330ml.

Lenovo, in its press release, said, "Skype, Asphalt 8, Evernote, and Slack run seamlessly on this powerful ARM processor as well as all touch applications, interactive games, high-definition video, and more, without compromising on performance,".
