Lenovo has unveiled its affordable hybrid laptop series, by adding its newly built Yoga 700. The two-in-one convertible laptop will be available in two variants on the basis of size i.e 11-inch and 14-inch. These variants will be available for purchase with a starting price of $649 (roughly Rs. 42,400) and $799 (roughly Rs. 52,200) respectively in the US. The availability and the pricing details are not yet confirmed for India.
The Lenovo Yoga 700 with 14-inch is featuring a full HD 10-point multi touch IPS display with 700:1 contrast ratio. The device runs on sixth generation Intel core i7 processor with Intel HD graphics. The laptop clubs an 8GB of DDR3L RAM and has the inbuilt storage of 256GB SSD.
For the connectivity, the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Card reader, and HDMI-out. It is measuring a 334.9×229.5×18.3mm, with its base model weighs 1.6kg.
It is backed by a 45Whr Li-Polymer battery, which is said to offer a 7 hours of running time, as listed on the company's US website.
Johnson Jia, senior vice president, PC Business Group, Lenovo in a press statement said that, “We know fast performance, easy portability, and rich sound and display are features consumers expect in a laptop today. That’s why we made the new YOGA 700 thinner and more powerful than ever with Windows 10 and Intel’s latest processor. We also added a Full HD IPS display and Dolby stereo speakers as part of its standard features so that consumers can get a premium quality convertible laptop for work and travel, at the price of a standard laptop.”
The Yoga 700 can be made convertible for access in four different modes i.e laptop, tablet, tent, and stand.
