The homegrown tech giant, Micromax seems very devoted to expand its business in budget devices’ market. The Company has showed its dedication in its recent launch of a voice calling tablet. The 3G enabled Canvas Tab P470 has been launched for Indian market at a very affordable price tag of Rs. 6,999. The device will go on sale from December 20.
It supports dual SIM and comes in Classic Silver and Mystic Grey colors. Micromax Canvas Tab P470 gets a 7-inch TFT display that provides 1024x600 pixels screen resolution. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform and come embedded with voice calling feature also. The tablet is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT8312 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz which is not as fast and good as required, but may be sufficient for a device with low-price tag.
It comes incorporated with a 1GB of RAM which is compelling enough to make the execution of multiple applications smooth. On the imaging side, a 5-megapixel camera houses on rear panel while a 0.3-megapixel front shooter is also on-board for video calling. The Canvas Tab P470 tablet comes paired with an 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32GB using microSD card. A battery of 3200mAh capacity gives upto 11 hours of talk time.
This tablet also has the ability to support 21 Indian languages including Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil etc. earlier, the mobile maker had unveiled Canvas Tab P666 tablet, which is a mid-range tablet at Rs. 10,999 with amazing features.
