After the visit of Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella to India, had announced the availability of Surface Pro 4 in India in January 2016. Bhaskar Pramanik, Chairman, Microsoft India said that Microsoft will launch the Surface Pro 4 in India in the “first week of January”.
The Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 is featuring a 12.3-inch PixelTouch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The company has reduced the bezel width of the device, the tablet is not larger than 12-inch. For the protection of the display, it is layered with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The device is a new stylus too. The company abbreviated it as a new Stylus, the Surface Pen and it comes with an eraser also. The new Surface Pen can detect 1,024 points of pressure, by this you can click the tip of the pen and the Surface Pro 4 opens Microsoft OneNote. It is also arrives with the Cortana integration.
As per the reports, the base model has the price tag of RS.67,999 will have 128GB of storage and will be based on an Intel core M3 processor with 4GB RAM. Another configuration of the same is the more powerful i5 Skylake processor will cost Rs.74,999. The model with the core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage will cost Rs.95,999.
The Surface Pro comes with an Intel’s 6th-generation Core processor, from core M3 for the base model, to Core i5 and Core i7 options. These configurations are powered by Intel HD Graphics 515, Intel HD Graphics 520, and Intel Iris Graphics respectively.
The device comes with two 4K Mini DisplaysPorts. The company claims that the Surface Pro 4 will offer up to 9 hours of battery life. It is loaded with an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera.
