An India based growing Company, Notion Ink has brought a new tablet for Indian market to lure customers with its appearance and features, dubbed Cain 8. The Windows 8.1 powered tablet has been made for budget users adding a price tag of Rs. 9,990. The device was earlier listed on e-commerce website.
The Notion Ink Cain 8 tablet gets 8-inch WXVGA IPS display and offers 1280x800 pixels screen resolution. Loading Intel Atom Z3735F processor which has 4 cores, 4 threads and 2MB cache, clocked at 1.33GHz with capability to burst upto 1.83GHz. All of these together give a great boost in performance speed of this tablet. To make multitasking easy, it has 1GB DDR3L RAM.
The device lacks at imaging side with 2-megapixel rear camera which has no flash to make picture bright in darker condition. Same 2-megapixel camera houses on the front panel for video calling purpose. Notion Ink Cain 8 comes equipped with 16GB of built-in storage and to broaden the storage space, here is an option for microSD card slot for 64GB expandable storage.
This device offers a massive 4000mAh Lithium Polymer battery which is rated to deliver upto 6 hours of video and upto 22 hours of audio playback. 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mini-HDMI and USB OTG are few connectivity features in this tablet. Buyer can get free one year subscription of Microsoft Office 365 and free 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage.
Earlier, the Company had brought its hybrid laptop, Notion Ink Cain with Windows 8.1 OS support which is priced at Rs. 19,990.
