Skullcandy has reported the dispatch of the Grind Wireless earphones in India at a cost of Rs. 6,499. The earphones are a redesigned and wireless variant of the Grind 2.0 earphones, which are now broadly available for purchase for nearly INR 2,500 today, and use Bluetooth for sound transmission.
The Grind Wireless sports similar look in terms of design and aesthetics as the Grind 2.0 and has an additional integrated amplifier to improve the overall sound experience of users even over Bluetooth. The headset boasts a battery life of up to 12 hours on a full charge, while the right ear cup of the headphone comes loaded with a microphone, call, track and volume controls to effectively control both the headset and music.
"Our wireless product innovations were well-received in 2015. Grind Wireless will continue our mission to launch headphone in a style that changes consumers' expectations of Bluetooth product's aesthetics and acoustic performance," said Amlan Bhattacharjya, founder, and CEO of Brandeyes Distributors Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor for Skullcandy in India.
The company has decided to make Skullcandy Grind Wireless earphones available only at Croma for the first one month, after which it would also be made available via local retailers across the nation as well as would be made available via company's official website.
One must recall that Skullcandy's last product that got launched in India was dubbed as Uproar BT earphones and was priced for INR 5,999 at the time of launching, however at present, the same product is available online for just INR 3,500. The Utah, the USA-based company is a specialist in headphones and other personal audio equipment and is known for making stylish and attractively designed headphones.
