Alcatel Onetouch, a mobile manufacturing company in India launched a new tablet dubbed as POP 8S.The tablet is made available exclusively on Flipkart at a price value of INR 10,499.
In the tablet of Alcatel Onetouch, 8-inch screen is provided with 1280×800 pixel resolution. It is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. To make it a portable device, it is given a thickness of 7.9mm and it weighs 327grams. 8GB internal memory and a memory card slot with the capability of 64Gb micro-SD card makes it a price worthy tablet.
Moving onto its outer configuration, 5MP rear and 3MP front snapper are made available in the Onetouch POP 8S, which is sufficient enough for a low budget tablet. The point of attraction in this device is the availability of 4G LTE SIM slot, which makes it a first to buy in the list of similar priced gadgets. On the connectivity front, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n are also available for running internet without SIM. A battery of 4060mAh is also embedded within this device, which gives ample power to the device to run day to day tasks.
Recently, the company has also launched new smartphones under Hero Series, Idol series, etc. But, as this device is a 4G enabled tablet, it is highly capable to compete with similar priced gadgets.
