Samsung Launched Ultra Thin Notebook 9 At CES 2016

Samsung, the South Korean company has announced the Notebook 9 laptop lineup at CES 2016. The Notebook 9 will be available in two variants on the basis of their size: 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch variant and runs on Windows 10 out of the box. Both the variants will be available to purchase in selected regions from March 2016. the company hasn't been revealed the pricing details of the laptops.

In terms of specifications, both of the model features almost same hardware modules. The notebooks have the pixel density of 1080p and are powered by Intel Skylake-U series processors. For the storage, the Samsung laptops have 128GB SSD and 256GB SSD respectively. The 13.3-inch variant clubs 4GB of RAM and 15.6-inch variant clubs 8GB RAM.

The newly fresh variants have backlit keyboards and is featuring a 1.5mm of key travel, company claims that it will improve the typing experience. Both the models have two USB 3.0 ports. The 15.6-inch model already features USB 3.1 Type-C connector with DisplayPort capability. The 13.3-inch model has a 30Wh battery whereas the 15.6-inch version sports a 39Wh battery. This is rather small considering some other Samsung laptops that have around 56Wh battery.

"The new Notebook 9s offer the features Samsung is known for - extraordinary displays, premium performance, all-day battery life and seamless connectivity with other devices - all in the ultraportable package demanded by today's mobile consumers."
